Knightmare's '13 DGM MT BRZ

This is my first journal that i've done, it will be a way for me to track what i've done to the car and share with everyone! I do plan on some subtle mods, suspension and simple bolt on's for now. I got clear bra put on the entire front end, front quarter panels & both side mirrors from the dealer.

Well here are some pictures of the BRZ next to my STI which i traded in for the car. I bought this car from Mark Miller Subaru in Salt Lake City Utah, yesterday 19 Nov. I went through a salesmen by the name of Doug. I can't say enough about the guy! He was easy to deal with and hassle free. He was also sure to inform me of the entire process and made sure i knew all angles. He went out of his way to call my local DMV as well to make sure we did the taxes right since i bought from out of state. When i was wanting to get the clear bra put on before i went to look at the car he warned me that it would be out of my pocket if i backed out of the deal. He would have put it on still if i wanted but was wanting to warn me. Good guy, he could've shafted me into a corner and pushed that i get it put on early. Their finance guy, Keith, was also a great pleasure to deal with! All around good buying experience. I only wish i would've sold my car locally instead of a trade, didn't get as much as i wanted but that's always the case when trading into the dealer. Still can't recomend them enough!

My mods will come slow and steady for me, mostly due to funding and just wanting to enjoy the car each stage. I also have an extended warranty and i'll want to make sure any potential bugs won't come my way to void the warranty. Suspension is more of where i'm wanting to plug into though, the car handles great stock so aftermarket upgrades will be interesting. Supercharger kit will be looking nice once the car is close to pay off, well into the future for that though.

Current Mods:
Clear Bra (Entire Front Bumper, 10% Hood & Front Fenders, Headlights, DRL's & Both Sider Mirrors)
Debadged
Filter Mag SS300
LED's (Interior, Door, Trunk & License Plate Lights)
Fumoto Oil Valve
RallyArmor Mudflaps
15% Tint All Around
Perrin Cat Back Exhaust (Powder Coated Black)
Tinted Reverse Light
TOMS Red Tail Lights
Dark Smoke JDM Side Markers w/Amber Lights

Future Mod Plans:
Perrin Header Back
Perrin Intake Tube W/Perrin Drop-In Filter
Perrin Crank Pulley
Perrin Rear Swaybar with Endlinks
Perrin Front Control Arm Brace
Perrin Rear Shifter Bushing
Whiteline Positive Shift Kit Bushing
Cusco Front Strut Tower Bar w/Master Cylinder Brace
Cusco Rear Strut Tower Bar
Cusco Front Swaybar
RCE Coilovers
Crawford Air/Oil Seperator
Wilwood or AP Racing Big Brake Kit
Rims/Tires (Not sure what direction i'm going there yet)

This first picture made me think there's my STI sitting next to the BRZ, felt like there's my wife (STI) and i'm about to go home with the younger sister (BRZ)

Less then 24 hours in my posession and the "We don't need no stinkin badges!" hit me lol

Haha yeah the FRS doesn't have those door lights, i heard that the premium BRZ's don't have them either. Thanks all for the comments though! I should be getting my RallyArmor mudflaps next Tuesday! I'll be sure to share pictures on those as well

Got my RallyArmor mudflaps installed onto the car yesterday! I'm still not the biggest fan of how they look but i do enjoy knowing that they will help protect my paint from getting poo/rock chips behind the tires. All of my other vehicles that i've owned have had some kind of issue with that.

Thanks to my lovely wife helping me out with the rears. I was getting ready to pull the rear tires off to get to the inside screw of the flaps to tighthen when she came up with the brite idea of putting the screws on before i put the brackets on! Saved me pulling the tires, not a huge deal but funny that it didn't even cross my mind I will try to get some more natural pics of the car not in my garage later on and post em up.

LOL leave it to a woman to come up with a genius and simple solution to a problem. I always tend to over complicate things haha.

I actually really like the flaps, I think they make the car look a bit more tough. Would love to see some more pictures in the daylight if you get the chance.

Thanks,
Rick

Thanks for the comments Rick! The flaps are growing on me now though. I think it's helped that i adjusted them so that they don't stick out as much.
As requested here's some shots not in my garage Also throwing in some other random shots. I also wish i would've known you guys had a BRZ when i went
to pick mine up. I drove up to Mark Miller to buy my car since my local dealer is less then negoitable. Would've been cool to check out your guys car in person!
