I'd rather drive an automatic ICE vehicle than a "manual" EV. Same concept as the engine noise-to-cabin induction. Fake. Worthless. Marketed to people that want to feel like they own a sports car but don't know a half ass about it.

Fake is fake.
My GTI has a feature to amplify the engine noise. One would think I'd like that since in "normal" mode I consider it far too quiet. However, it doesn't sound real, and actually is a bit boomy at times. I leave it turned off. Faaaaaaaaaaake
