AlFRS - Hot Lava FRS "Slow N' Steady'
Alright, so please forgive me. I have been a long-time frs/brz owner, and have owned four of them. This may be a little long to explain...
Brief History I purchased my first my first ultramarine one in March of 2015. It was a 2013, manual with 30,000kms and I was in love with the car, maybe a little too much. I saw a beautiful white FRS Turbo for sale at a dealership in December. After going to the dealer, and being told the difference would be $2,000 between my blue one and this white 2013 turbo frs with 78,000km I decided to make the switch. I ws so excited, over the winter spent thousands on supportive mods, and even decided to invest in a vinyl wrap since the paint was not in the best shape. Well, this was an absolute disaster. Every time I worked on the car, I discovered new "faults" on the car, and the car spent 500 of its first 600kms on a flatbed. I actually did not put gas in the car for over 2 months for how long it spent at a garage or on a flatbed. Being a student, I had spent so much money at this time, got myself into some bad debt I sold it, and drove dads car for a while. 10 Months later, I spot this beautiful Luxmotion widebody BRZ for sale super cheap 3 hours away from me with only 5,000kms. Although it wasn't my thing (i'm more of a function guy) I saw a car that had potential to turn into a track car and I loved the idea of turning a stance car into a track car... but it never felt like it was mine. At the time I had also lost my daily and was not financially capable to purchase a daily along with the car so I sold the car for a WRX. WRX was fun, but its not 86! Current 86! So now I'm glad to say I am finally back in an 86! For the fourth time, and the proper time, I am owned of a hot lava 2013 FRS with only 12,000km. The first owner was a 59 year old man who just simply never drove it. Orange being my favorite color, I saw it at the dealership and pulled the trigger right away. The car (for now) is my daily driver for the summer but will eventually become a weekend warrior/track car. Yes, it is an auto, for now anyway. The theme for the car is 'Slow N' Steady' which ironically characterizes it in it's stock form pretty well. EVentually, it will be a beautiful track beast with full suspension, brakes, turbo and varis widebody.
