Backup cam
I just drove home a 2014 Monogram edition with the Bespoke audio and Nav. I need a backup cam. Does anyone know if these are pre-wired, or will I have to pull wires?

you can buy the stock camera kit and harness, and there are a bunch of posts on here with fairly detailed instructions. It all starts with what head unit you have, and then you need to run wires from the camera to it, as well as the reverse trigger which is in the cluster of wires by the driver door/trunk latch.
If you know what you are doing (ie work on cars) I gather its fairly straighforward. Alas, I lack these skills and have the camera and harness somewhere gathering dust. |

It is a fairly simple install process. I bought a wiring harness and camera off the web for around $40.00 and it took about 1 hour to install.

Having just completed this with my 2014 monogram, I’d recommend the kit from Camera Source. The only thing with the camera source kit is their included power cable that gets inserted into the 28pin connector to the head unit didn’t fit, at least for me. I ended up ordering a separate power cable from autoharnesshouse.com (part 7698 I believe) that worked perfectly although it was a bit short so I had to extend that a bit to reach. Also, do yourself a favor and buy some Posi-tap connectors (see Amazon) to use in place of the crimp type connectors included for a better connection. Follow the Aussie’s video instructions as previously posted as it’s a great guide. Good luck.
