IN CA? LOOKING for FR-S?
I have one FR-S left for allocation the customer gets to pick the options, transmission type, and color(other than whiteout we already sold 2...if your from out of the area we can talk) we take a fully refundable deposit of $500 and your good to go...last order was scheduled for delivery in two months but the fr-s got here in three weeks...I don't know if that's how the next ones will work but this last allocation is guaranteed to deliver by December... Also MSRP only no markups or unwanted add ons....it may be worth the money to travel a bit to save and not worry about weird dealer games...I own an FR-S and can personally speak for the ease of process up here in the small town environment...we can't just blow customers off because theres not enough of them around and the person you blow off may be a friend of a friend or kin

I went to one of the biggest dealers in the district, and they get a better allocation than the smaller dealers because they sell more cars. Also had a very easy time, i got my car within 2 weeks. December? That's a long time....

Allocation can come from volume, but it can also come from being ranked high in Customer Satisfaction and Sales Satisfaction like we are...or if you have connections with the region from being a Scion Champion at a dealership....I didnt say it wouldn't come before December...thats the latest it would come...I try to under-promise and over-deliver...nothings worse than a sales team that keeps stringing you along with their delivery dates...If you can find one sooner I would rather buy one thats there on the lot...but it sounds like a lot of these are being marked up with added options...one of Scion's mottos is "hassle free haggle free"...but it seems like there might be some hassle to be had...if you can get one close by and not pay an extremely exorbitant amount more power to you...I want as many of these on the road as possible...the potential customers and owners so far have been really cool to work with, Its fun to talk with car guys that share a passion with you! And Brimford I think the midwest and south may be lucking out a little bit....Toyotas here on the west coast are huge!! so we have faced some inventory issues...A lot of enthusiasts are here in CA especially....but I mean it looks like this thing is a hit everywhere...Im stoked for anybody that can get theirs and enjoy it as soon as possible!!!
