Knocking after i turn the car off

After i turn my car off i hear slight knocking not sure if it is coming from the engine or not. When the car is in idle or im driving there is no knocking noise. any help and input is greatly appreciated.

Video would be best, knocking is very vague. Could it just be the noise the aluminum parts make when they are cooling down?

Knocking or a ticking noise?
When you say after you turned off do you mean once the engines has stopped moving?

Yep heat shield and exhaust in general. Perfectly normal with all cars but like so many other noises seems more pronounced on these cars.

All is good in the world.

Maybe what you are refereeing to is when you turn off the car and you hear some 'popping' noises underneath the car? that is normal, as other have stated, its related to the heat shield and stuff underneath the car cooling down from being warm/hot.

It's completely normal, happens with my car too. Just recently my car started making the "cricket" noise everyone on the forum talks about. It happened right after I hit 2000km on my 2016 frs, completely normal though.
