FT-86 II | Red Tails + Wing Delete

I heard some people wanting to de-rice the II a little. Here's red taillights, rear spoiler delete, and those tacky bits in the rear "vent" removed.

Nice!! Too bad he didn't remove the Buick-style-non-functional side vents!

I considered it, but didn't have a lot of time this morning. The car would, I agree, look better without that scallop under the side windows terminating in that vent they ripped off from Aston Martin.

I agree! The squared off fenders look cheap and that rear diffuser is ruining it the rear, kind of G37ish!

Can you do one in red and put it side by side with the FT-86 I?

LOVE IT without the wing. The rear end with the wing spoiler has a bit too much going on for my taste, but losing the wing tones it down a bit.

Thanks for sharing the great render!

Wing delete looks spectacular. I think most cars look cheaper with wing spoilers. Definitely prefer wingless or better yet a lip spoiler.

I will probably do this. I hope they make versions that don't have the wing, even if they are weaker. I'll just order it as an option when I buy mine and make the dealer swap trunks for me. Did it before with GM.
