Toyota ft-86 G-Sport will go into production...?
Well i know that the title is kind of misleading but i would like to know what you guys think.
We know that the ft-86/ fr-s will go into production, we just don't know when , but what about the g-sport. Will it be just like a TRD version with upgraded parts or an actual different car with different engine.

Personally I'm liking the look of the G-Sport less and less the more I compare it to the original.

I like the gsport's back more, maybe its because of the exhaust location?

I know it's blasphemy but, I like the G-Sport better than the standard model. I really hope something similar gets greenlighted for production.

Probably not as an acutal production vehicle but I bet some of the cosmetic items will be available so your FT can "look" like a G Sport.

Mmmm G-Sport. Maybe after a year or so of Ft/FR-S production. But I agree that Toyota will probably sell dealership "G-Sport" parts, like wing, diffuser, exhaust etc. Much like they do with the TRD stuff.
I know Hyundai sells AEM CAI and dual axle back exhausts for the Gen Coupe. You can get Eibach sway bars and a bunch of other stuff too, at highly inflated prices. I would def. expect to see dealer installed "performance" options.

If they do release it that's what I want. But I hope it provides good torque for hilly areas and passing punch.

to be honest, IF both regular & G's come in production and perform as same as GT5. I'm still gonna buy regular FT86. Cuz stock FT86 perform awesomely over G's. Yes, Turbo ver have more hp and can make more hp... but something bout lightly tuned NA FT86 that I cannot resist.

I could see them making it a special edition (like the Nismo 370Z) or offer the kit and some performance parts as TRD options.

Only difference is TRD parts are hella expensive... but it's just that good.

Both the factory Nismo and the Nsimo S-tune options seem to be pretty popular, so no reason why Toyota couldn't do this as well. |

My wheels are an example of the old TRD awesomeness. Forged monobloc by none other than Rays Engineering. Does that still apply to TRD wheels today? Not bloody likely.

500 people pre-ordering a TRD dry carbon hood. Oh my! That's a lot of rich boys and girls! Christ, that would be like a $1.5M order!
