Gir u dont have to always repost there picture in there post.... u can just backspace it and replace it with ... or something if they dont make a comment so they still receive a notification.... Saves having to see multiply pics popping up.

Is the interior protection from dealer? And what do they do exactly? cheers...

Dealer wanted over 1k for interior protection, so it isn't from them. It's a vinyl protector for all interior plastics, and cloth protection for the seats.

Any hints which dealer? or delivery date? I'm feeling a bit meh about my price now haha.

Thanks Nardi! I'm going to speak to them tomorrow about removing my car as a trade in. $16.5k-$25k seems to be the going rate on carsales for them at the moment.

I may as well not even be trading a car in as the amount still owed and what they offer cancels each other out. So all that will happen is I will be giving them a car for nothing.

U can easily sell higher than $9k!!!

While u are at it, remove the paint sealant and tint and get it later. I have already spoken to a guy about putting Opti coat on my car and I have used a mobile tinting guy for all my cars + my home + my friends car etc. Pm me if u want more detail.

People getting low 39K driveaway, where was the saving? on the dealer delivery or did they actually discount the car?

Hey Nardi, You pay GST in the price but stamp duty is a state thing.. oh and it turns out it's 1900 dealer car wash.. didn't even want the plastic off the seats ..lol

Just happy to have one now.. need the build time and then sorting it out so it's ready to kick arse in 2013...

Ahh, I think that means you need to go in and bargain now? As you'd want to get the price pretty much locked down. Im guessing you put your order in before pricing was released? Issue now is they're basically holding a gun to your head, as they can just say, youre gonna lose your car if you dont pay x price.

Your bargaining power - the ability to take your business somewhere else, if tempered by the fact you want your car quickly, and if you do pull the pin, your likely to wait till next year depending on spec.

I would assume the most likely outcome is you just pay the RRP with little extras thrown in?

Thanks Mate. Actually I put order on 7/6/12 - AUTO White GTS with Aero Kit, on the contract, it just says $37990 + on road cost + paint + Aero Kit .. that's all...

So, I believe I just can do some bargain when the car is coming?

I went in to the dealer to do my test drive today, likewise i placed an order before the car was in the dealership and my contract had a TBC price. So i basically wanted to firm up on the price now that it is in their system and negotiate on all the extras and stuff.

You're probably not going to be able to get much movement on the price, but they could probably move more on the accessories.

No way. Once you sign and put in a deposit, that's the price you will have to pay.
