I just got update from valenti. They look to have set Jan 2016 as the release date and pretty confident the date is set

Good news. These are still on the top of my list. Just rewatched the first video and didn't notice this description before "blinding and vivid". Not sure the blinding part is a good way to describe tail lights! I can see the court case now:

"Your honor the defendant hit my client's stopped FR-S from behind at high speed, obviously he is guilty"
"Your Honor the defendant did not know the plantiff was stopped because he had been blinded by the tail lights. As you can see in this marketing video, this is an advertised feature of these"
