There is a silver AT BRZ limited available at Elk Grove Subaru (no options). I had preordered it, but I couldn't wait for it and ended up purchasing a FRS a couple months ago. Was told the BRZ arrived today- I turned it down- so now its up for grabs! Good luck!

I was informed there is a Argento (silver) FRS 6MT at Dublin and City Toyota in Daly City (also Argento). Both are available.

LOL I got the same call today from someone at Elk Grove. He said the silver was available, but at a marked up price - they want more than MSRP. when I told him I had preordered elsewhere he gave me an extended spiel about how it was in demand and either waiting 2 years or paying a markup was a fact of life.

LOL a major shipload of BRZs must have just been offloaded. Got another call today this time from someone at Autowest Subaru in Roseville, CA. The guy said they have 3, yes 3 WRB BRZs, 1 6MT and 2 6AT. Forgot to ask him if they are Premiums or Limiteds. Anyways he said they are being PDI'd and are not spoken for as of earlier today. However, they are asking $3K markup. Well I guess that's a little better than the $5K markup they told me when I originally called them a few weeks ago.

Well the guy said they are willing to take offers but not MSRP. I told him I had an order for below MSRP and the guy went off on a "cautionary" tale about how other dealerships might promise me a deal but then renege on it and try to gouge me. Thanks buddy, good looking out.
Anyways if anyone is in that area you can at least visit and check out WRB in person, and maybe talk your way into a test drive, seeing as they have so many on the lot.

just a heads-up, dublin toyota loads on upgrades to make a higher MSRP sale. they give you an option of forced upgrades for you to pick, but will not sell you the car unless you make some sort of upgrade that drives the MSRP higher.

If anyone here has pre-ordered an WRB Limited (either 6-speed or AT) and doesn't want to keep the pre-order, please send me PM.

I got a call from a salesman on saturday that they got one in but when i was there friday to ask service to quickly look at my car and see why the engine is making noise like it was 20yrs old. I was told by a fat service manager "sorry all service techs are busy" but they were all standing around the parts department. First impression.. wont take my car there for service if thats how they work with customers. I dont think it would have taken anyone 10mins to just check it out..

that's unfortunate, you're right first impressions make a huge difference and can make or break a service relationship. for what it's worth my wife and I have been taking our tC and MR2 to Dublin for regular oilchanges for a few years and generally been happy with them. They give you a very thorough inspection report after every service, even a basic oil change. Good way to see what mechanical issues may be coming and let you plan ahead (i.e. tire tread low, P/S fluid dirty, CV boot starting to crack). Have not bought a car through them though.

I may have a BRZ for sale at the end of the month but it already has "parts" on it so there would be an extra cost...Pearl White Premium manual with a CF driveshaft and a set of Volk TE37's.
(17 X 7.5 +48 in white also) PM me if you are interested...no charge for the license which I won't give up, LTE BRZ

So who bought the WRB limited BRZ from Maita Subaru? I was going to go check out the limited interior (still have never seen one, only premium/FRS) and the lady said it was gone within an hour.

Spoke with sales at Modesto Toyota/Scion this morning. Two coming in this week, one Whiteout, AT, spoken for, and an Asphalt MT, seems available. Want to poke head in with helmet to see if me fits. No stealership markup, I asked expressly that, and they said they don't do that.

Fingers crossed on the Hot Lava MT somewhere...

Sat in the Asphalt one (pre-PDI) today to verify headroom, trunk, etc... Looks great! It was pretty much next to get washed, so I couldn't get a real good look at the lines.

I asked about taking possession of a car before PDI and weather the current car could be taken for a test ride. Those questions seemed to throw them for a loop, but I 'esplained myself and they thought that may be okay.

I will check it out once its prepped to see how many scratches ended up in the dark finish. Hopefully get to take a spin.

I was able to check out 2 BRZ (1 premium auto GBS, 1 limited 6MT Silver) at Putnam Subaru in Burlingame. Very nice, i'd take the silver one in a heartbeat if i was financially able.

Across the street I saw a red FRS at Putnam Scion/Toyota.

were there markups or forced addons on these cars you saw? otherwise I would imagine they would have been snapped up quickly...

The Silver BRZ had the diffuser, but i think that was it. I don't recall any options for the GBS.

e-mail 1:
My name is Jason Bean, I'm an Internet Manager here at Putnam Subaru in Burlingame. I've received your inquiry on a New 2013 Subaru BRZ and I'd be happy to help you. It is still here at the moment. We have two. I believe these are the only two currently available in Northern California. We are adjusting the price to reflect current market value just like all other dealers. Extremely limited supply and very high demand. The two that we've had prior both sold very fast for well over MSRP. If you're interested in purchasing one of these vehicles I'd be happy to go over the details and schedule an appointment with you to come in and take a look. Please feel free to send me an email or give me a call if you have or need any other information regarding this purchase. I look forward to hearing from you. I appreciate the opportunity to earn your business. Thanks in advance.

e-mail 2:
Hi there, to be honest, I don't want to give you sticker shock. The dealer asking price including the market adjustment is WELL over that.
You have one on order though, that's great. You're one of the lucky ones that got to place an order. Enjoy the vehicle when it arrives.

Yup, sounds like markup way over MSRP. I said I'd be willing to pay 1K over MSRP just to get the car a couple of weeks early and apparently that isn't close to what they are looking for.

The Modesto Toyota/Scion Interweb Manager said no markups, just MSRP. "We don't do that here, but we have heard others do."

Went to dublin toyota yesterday just too see if they had any to look at/ sit in.

I figured theyd have a mark up there, but didnt expect them to say $3000 mark up. Ridiculous.

If your in the market for a FR-S keep looking around, i know there are dealers that sell them at msrp.
