Norcal Available Cars

There are too many dealers to contact to find your exact color with your exact transmission. It would be nice to have a place where people can let others know if there is a car available that they aren't going to purchase themselves, since they aren't getting listed anywhere else right now. If it has markup I will try to keep it off the list since the general consensus on the boards is to discourage anyone from a purchase with markup. I'll make any notes of accessories that bump up the price significantly.

List removed since I haven't kept it up, read posts to catch some leads.

Great. Why don't you start it off then with the available cars you have tracked down to date

I'll have to bug TJ again tomorrow to see if they got in update on my car since it sounds like cars are finally rolling in and mine was at the port.

I called freeman toyota a week or two ago when you mentioned they had a free vehicle and was told someone had a deposit on it already. Quite possible that has changed though.

3 FRS's came into Putnam Toyota, Burligame; one is gone.

The two left are Argento MT and Whiteout AT. I do have pictures for proof, and I can update later tonight, my dad sold the first one, a Whiteout MT.

PM for a number if interested.

Just talked to Putnam in Burlingame. They are installing leather seats in both of the cars. The price for the MT is $28051 with the leather seats. So tack on the AT and Whiteout charges and you have the price for the White AT.

Both cars are still up for grabs. Call them and ask for Darren if you're interested. He said the cars just arrived and haven't even finished inspection.

All the dealerships that weren't taking pre-orders are now out to rape people.

Just talked to TJ. The whiteout AT has a deposit on it now. So it's no longer available. He should be getting his next allocation list soon, and said if you get in touch with him you'll be 3rd on that list. He got 4 cars in the first allocation.

Here are the Putnam Toyota FR-S's: (This might be the only shipment until July.)

Argento MT

Whiteout AT

Also both cars already come with paint protection and rear bumper applique which is included on the sticker price posted on the window.

Regarding the Leather, I can tell you that on the sticker option listing it says something like "Scion FR-S Leather."

You will have to call yourself for a price, I feel it's wrong to quote a price because that could stir things up. But like I said, my dad already sold the first one, to a very happy young man. The post-delivery picture portrayed that.

If interested you can also contact Noli.

When I saw the sticker price of the Whiteout AT with all the options and it was already past $29k but I don't know if the leather is included in that price (no mark up either).

Yeah it's not a mark-up it's an added option. Most of us on the forums want the stock seats, but adding leather makes sense since it gives the car more of an "upscale" feel for everyone who'd buy it to just be their every day car. There's a big thread about this on the main forums.

I really hope it doesn't continue here, my intension of listing what I was quoted was not to stir up anything, but make sure people were prepared to know what they'd be getting when the called. I'm 200% sure those cars will sell. Leather matters to a lot of people, just not some of us.

Their being cheeky and taking a punt there are some 'gotta have its' out there.
Simply do not buy their cars on the lot at silly prices and ask to order a bare-bones one at MRSP. The Bay is full of dealers, just skip the one's trying to gouge

Just a heads up. The 6MT ultramarine that Folsom Scion has is a First 86 car that the buyer backed out on, so if anyone is looking for a low vin number car ... that's your best bet.
Ask for Jay. I was going to buy the car but ended up getting one from the local dealer. Maybe tell him Greg sent you. :-D

Ended up picking mine up from Chuck Patterson here in Chico.
As of 7pm today they had a Firestorm Auto that wasn't yet spoken for. I think it had paint protection film Hood/front fenders, wheel locks, ashtray cup and carpet trunk mat.

TJ at One Toyota in Oakland has a black AT that someone backed out on. Hit him up! It won't last long.

I saw some shots of it. I'd jump on it myself if it was MT or whiteout.
