I was wondering...
Do the FR-Ss headed for Hawaii go to Portland or Long Beach and then get shipped to Hawaii, or do they drop them off on the way? |

I don't know but it's doubtful. I don't think that the shipping routes actually pass that close to Hawaii and I don't think they would make a big detour just to drop off a few cars. But I may be wrong.

hey friends!
I'm a Toyobaru fan. I currently own 72 and 74 celicas, a 75 Hilux, and my last "real" car was an 08 Forester XT with STI swap. I also owned a bugeye WRX in the past, so I have a foot in both worlds. Looking and hoping to find me a BRZ. A nice middle of the road between old Toyotas and modern Subarus. |

Hello everyone!
My name is Ben, from Alberta. I'll be honest, I've been following the news on this website for a few months, and also reading how people are liking their new cars and their opinions, etc. I am really interested in this car, but unfortunately I don't think it is very practical especially in Edmonton, where the snow piles up incredibly, and the destroyed roads. |

Patiently Waiting
Hey guys,
I've had my FR-S (silver) on order for about two weeks now. My patience is starting to wear off. Thanks to makers and members of this forum for fueling the excitement and educating us all. Looking forward to mods and going to the track. |

Stumbled across this forum trying to learn more about the FR-S. Didn't really consider it until I was at the dealer this weekend with the Prius (wife's) and my '08 xB. Apparently I was staring at the car too hard because a salesman hit the unlock button on the key fob and invited me in. Long story short I liked it and since I've had such a hard time trying to sell the xB considering just trading it in on an FR-S. Haven't gone for a test drive yet because I as pressed for time, but will try to do that soon. I've had several cars in my day, most notably a few MKIII ('86.5-'92) Supra Turbos. Looking for something fun to cruise on the weekends and take to the track occasionally. Anyway, seems like a good place to hang out and soak up some info. If I cross into the realm of ownership I plan on hanging out a bit more.

Sup everyone, picked up my Asphalt 86 saturday after being jerked around by Sunnyvale Toyota that my order was on its was then finding out i was 11th instead of 1st on the list.. picked up the car from Vallejo Toyota, Cory the internet manager got me in the car after a week. Car came in with upgraded radio and some few other things.. Loving the car, used to drive a WS6 back in the day to an evo that i modded the hilt..only thing stock was the body.. then moved away to the philippines and picked up a R32 GTR (BNR32) when i got there.. then moved back and this was the first car i wanted when i arrived, finally got it and is very satisfied.. placed 2 more deposits for two more..

Happy new fr-s owner in Los Angeles
Picked up my new fr-s Saturday from manhattan beach Toyota. Great place. Stay away from north Hollywood Toyota! Bunch of clowns.
Loving the new ride (hot lava, automatic). Started my mods with a k&n air filter! Runs great and handles awesome. Couldn't be happier! |

Hi everyone! Been lurking here for a few weeks also.. put a deposit down on a MT Ultramarine 2 weeks ago, but then changed my mind when I saw a white one in a showroom in Watertown MA. So I called my dealer, and told him about it, and he said I was in luck because someone also backed out of a white one, which should be in by the end of the month. Of course I didn't really believe it until I got a VIN # a week ago, and finally the call came this morning. I shot down , signed all the paperwork, and now I'm just waiting for the call that the final detailing is done.. wash, plates, etc.. Can't WAIT to pick it up tonight. Photos to follow.

Hello all!
Lurked around the past week or so. Just saying hello. The BRZ/FRS both are amazing looking cars. Perhaps someday... Used to hang out on the s2ki forums way back yonder but lately the daily grind of work after college graduation has taken its toll... Anywho. Just sayin' hello ! Looking forward to the fun chit chats about this amazing vehicle!

Still in school though 1 year until I graduate with a associates degree in Aviation Maintenance Professional. after that I will have my FRS. So I plan to lurk around here as i don't have much time to post because of work and school. Nice to meet you all. |

Hey ToyoBaru fans! I'm completely sold on the BRZ/FRS and can't wait to make my purchase once I'm back in the states. Been a Toyota fan for quite a while and a Subaru admirer as well. I plan on test driving an 86 over here in Bahrain where I am currently on deployment in the US Navy. Wish I could just buy an 86 in the states and even quickly researched the possibility of importing an 86 from Bahrain but it just as quickly proved unrealistic.
Currently own a 2005 IS300 which I love driving and working on(sometimes) even though it's slow and heavy. Maybe I'll turbo it one day... sometime after I install an LSD and consider a transmission swap( )Leaning towards purchasing a SWP BRZ limited because of the options but I want to do something with the bumper eventually. I don't like the mustache and smile but I'll change that. Looking forward to joining the conversation as an owner.
