Today I took her to a local graphics place, Identity Design for those of you who are in Florida. I got the mirrors and front lipped carbon fiber wrapped and it looks fantastic. The finished product looks great. However, I'm going to have them redo the left side mirror, as they said if I was unhappy with anything they'd redo it, as there is a slight error on the wrapping around the edge and some of the white is visible. I'll be getting this redone when I go back to them sometime soon to have them tint my windows and also carbon fiber wrap the roof. As for near plans, my lighting kit will be here Friday and I should have pictures of that up.

For now here's some photos of the CF parts:

How much did you lose on the trade in? I have a trade in myself and I'm a few grand underwater on it compared to the trade in value.

I'm not really a stickler for specifics on lighting, HID vs Xenon vs Halogen. All I know is I wanted the HID look, without buying a whole HID kit. So I just bought some Sylvania Silverstar H11's, the one's with Xenon in them. Again, I'm a huge newbie at lighting specifics so I don't really know if Xenon is a party foul or not. Regardless, the lights look great. In the daylight they look yellow, almost like the stock halogens, but in the darkness they look bright white like HID's. Either way, I'm satisfied and this was a rather inexpensive mod (if you can call it that) that really makes the car look better.

Here they look yellow but they're much brighter than stock

love the mods, looks like once you have some CF accents you have to pretty much make the look uniform. A decklid spoiler wrapped in CF like the one from fiveaxis will compliment your car very good. Add a beatsonic CF sharfin antenna and a new set of wheels and you got yourself a winner here. The roof for me is a hit or miss thing, it depends really on what type of wheels you have. just my 2 cents.

keep up the mods!

Awesome job with the headlights. I too was about to switch out my stock bulbs for the ones you put it. However, I wasn't to sure about the glare I'll be making in regards to the other drivers. Do you mind taking pics of it shining against a wall or something? Thanks!

I'll take those pics either tomorrow night or friday when I'm installing the engine bay lights, already been in and out of the house too many times tonight, been waking people up.:P The glare isn't bad, and after driving at night I can say the improved visibility is great!

EDIT: Just finished taking off the FR-S badge. It's made of cheap metal and snapped once it was off. Be careful though as the metal from the badge and on the trunk gets very hot after using a blow dryer on it, scalded my thumb when taking the badge off. Then I used some goo gone (car-safe) on a microfiber towel to get the residue off, there was a lot left over. But it's clean and looks great.

Looks good.

The Sylvania Silverstars burn out very quickly... if you want brighter lights it will be cheaper in the long run to get a HID plug and play kit -- trust me.

Damn how quickly? Cause if they can last at least a month or two I can get an HID kit in there.

Look on the back of the packaging, from what I recall they have at least a year warranty.

I've used SharpHID in the past, they have great HID kits for the price and unless they've changed, they offer a lifetime warranty. A full HID kit only costs $75 when you buy the optional wiring harness (a must IMO).

I literally found myself replacing at least one every few months. After a few rounds of that I decided the HID kit was going to be cheaper.

Xenon is good -- probably any plug and play will be fine. The whiter the light (i.e., less ricey) the brighter the lumens and the less heat produced.

I'm like the only one who's had good luck with Silverstars, lol. They do tend to burn out quickly. I say run 'em til they burn out then look for other options.

Today I had the windows tinted, 15% all around, 25% on the front windshield. Afterwards, following shawn's advice from his "frs with black wheels" thread I plasti dipped the wheels black. It looks pretty good, not exactly perfect but it'll do until I have the spare cash lying around to get them powder coated. After that I installed my lighting package from Automation Lighting and it looks fantastic! The shipping was fast an the product is great I really recommend it as it's only $25.
