But again, like I said, if you're happy that's all that matters.

I paid MSRP for my vehicle too. Then they tacked on $3500 on top of it in service plans and other nonsense protection.

Markup is markup :\
I am happy with the seats and heater install, but thanks for the heads up. I would of ordered a different car, if I didn't think the Interior was up to Standard.

What services and protection plans did they tack on the cost $3500? was this done when finalizing the sales paperwork or in the finance managers office when signing for the vehicle?

Ended up canceling my order at Schaumburg Toyota

Made a phone call and picked up same day from another dealer earlier yesterday, Argento M/T, already put a little over 200 miles on it. Trying to be nice and follow break in procedure, but had some fun testing out the ebrake in tonights rain =)

Nothing, that's kinda the point. Paintless dent removal and windshield chip fixes, basically. It was tacked on in the finance managers office. They had 2 people with cash in hand standing in the dealership they were going to sell the car to if I didn't pick it up, and they were going to sell it to them at 5k over MSRP. Whatever, I don't even care at this point. I paid over MSRP, but I've already got more than my money's worth in enjoyment from the car, with no sign of slowing down.

I paid 3-4k "drift tax" on my two 240's, so I'm used to paying a premium for a desirable vehicle. Meh.

Very nice, welcome to the family! Glad to see at least SOMEONE else is willing to actually drive the car like a car, instead of some sort of newborn child.

Thanks! I hope to hit up Blackhawk Farms and at least one Drift Day before the end of the year, but I do like to like to hoon around here and there on the street, its been almost a year since I've really driven driven!

Off topic, but heres some video of me in my old Miata. I hope to pick up a Contour HD camera soon so I can start filming some new in-car stuff with the FRS!

I got lucky last week, saw one listed on the website but no info on color or transmission.

Went to the dealer at lunch...3 hours later I was sitting in my new ride :-)

Another Argento FR-S

Got to trade my 09 TC lease 11 months early too....
