What's up babes! Been looking at some crank pulley kits as you can tell by the title,any suggestions?

I was taking a look at these before posting this article. Thanks guys!

I bought Circuit Werks pulley kit from this exact seller http://www.ebay.com/itm/CIRCUIT-WERK...-/301071463848.

Kit was great and has been on my car four about 4k miles now. It may not have the pretty finish that buddy club has but they are quality made and a heck of a lot cheaper.

I run circuitwerks. Raceng stuff is neat, but incredibly $$$ by comparison.

they do make some fine products, and i was seriously considering there kit but are stupid expensive imo and are out to lunch with their pricing.

So you're willing to risk potential engine damage from reduced vibration dampening lightweight pulleys provide, so you FT86 revs slightly faster? Your choice, your car.

There's no conclusive proof lightweight pulleys do or don't damage the FA20 engine, but this guy's engine failed and his only mod was a pulley.

I haven't heard anything bad with Subaru's in general running light weight crank pulley's. How ever I have heard enough horror stories with other cars to stay far away. The minimal to non existent gains are not worth potential engine failure to me.

IDK hard to say if it was the crank pulley.

That guy's engine failed twice and both times Toyota covered it under warranty. He never removed the crank pulley and Toyota sent out mechanics to inspect the vehicle.

If the crank pulley was directly involved it seems odd that Toyota would cover the blown engine because of it.

A very good point....

Also, think about what it is really dampening. There is a rubber gasket between its attachment to the crank shaft and it's attachment to the accessory pulley... I never saw what the big issue was. It seems the rubber belt would be all the dampener you needed IMO.

By the way, this has been debate to no end so good luck ever making up your mind
