First drive:
I've already put about 80 miles on it in the first night...I don't know how to describe stuff in really technical terms so forgive me.

Just cruising on the freeway, nothing fancy, it was okay. I'm not gonna say I was blown away, but wasnt expecting to be especially just driving down the freeway at 11pm, I'm sure it'll be more fun after 'break in' and once i get used to it a bit more...right now i was just trying to make it home lol though i had at least a few people staring at me and not letting me change lanes by paralleling me anyhow, pics to come!

No special treatment, they were fine overall no drama at the dealership, but I didnt appreciate the GSM saying something about "make sure to kiss their asses" because I brought up the nice party that Pecking got at Longo and special treatment for the first86, trying to let them know that they were kinda halfass about this whole thing.

The fleet manager who did the paperwork for us was very nice as was the finance guy, the GSM was a turnoff, and kept emphasizing they wont make any money on it (like i should feel bad?) and was also the guy who never answered any of my calls or voicemails over the last 5 months and then said "oh man i havent heard from you for a long time!" when we got there today...ugh sorry i'm venting now because i'm sleepy and grumpy

Yessir!

It takes away from the "first86" experience for sure, but in the end the real loser is the dealership because people will read my story, vs MotoP or Peking and prob go with their dealerships instead haha. But hey, no markup, so ultimately I'm not gonna hate on them THAT much...but that FR-S backpack is pretty damn nice, so i'm def jelly of this:

Haha thought it had to be you lol. I was at work also shuttling ppl from Toyota of noho and saw it and tried to catch up but ou were flying lol. Plus I couldn't go too fast cuz of the ppl in the shuttle lol.

I'm picking it up tonight sat 5/12 flew back in for mother's day (but hey, that's sunday right) and flying back out again early this week

I'll let someone else take point on that...my schedule wouldnt allow weekly anything LOL but I'd love to come out and learn about all the crazy crap everyone is doing to their cars as much as possible

Quick question... My dealer isn't starting on my financing until I get my VIN in, which will be in a couple of days last I heard. What kind of credit score do you have that you got that rate? I'm trying to figure out where I want to finance this thing. Thanks!

No Regrets! White really is the best color for this car (which is why everyone and their mom got white) Toyota charges 220 extra for it for a reason

I guess if you want to have the "only 86 in ____" in your area, then do NOT get white :P Otherwise it looks bomb
