When looking at most Japanese wheels or aftermarket wheels in general, they'll be JJ

Yeah I been reading up on the AL racing nuts. I'll have to be extra careful with them and make sure when I change tyres to only bring the tyres to the tyre shop and not the car, lol.

Apparently with the AL ones, you have to torque them to 80-85ft/lbs then after 15-20km driving, you have to double check the torque on them again.

Reminds me.. I'll have to look into buying a torque wrench too

"Patterned" type line for better grip for the tyre edge.

Depending on Shipping price and compared to what yo got might jump on a set of these if they fall into my budget

I don't totally hate them, but I don't love them.
IMO they would look better on a 135i or similar euromobile

they look good in this size but are you prepared to rock this size (18x9.5+30)??

you will need quite a lot of negative camber to have this much concave.

a more modest size looks like this (18x8.5+47):

personally i'd go for a staggered setup. 18x8.5+47 front and 18x9.5+30 rear.

I want those wheels.

Another angle:

They also seem to come in 15, 16, 17 and 18.

What size are the rims in the photo? That's exactly the look im after the stock rims are so tiny I though car manufacturers were getting over the tiny wheel 90s look these days.

lols, nice.

I kinda want to see what my matte black rx8 wheels (18x8) would look like on it. Is it against the rules to put mazda on toyota?

18's I assume. That's the largest those rims are made.

Great thread for another noobie like me. I'm looking at a 5 spoke white wheel on a red or black GT either 16 or 17 inch, I'm thinking the smaller and lighter the better, probably going to keep the same tyre width as well, I plan on doing the occasional Tarmac autocross so the smaller the better I guess.

Thoughts / advice for a noobie? Or even particular wheel suggestions

The white ones of those look great on a red 86 in the viewer are the sizes compatable or comparable to the stock wheels, again just looking at the gt so they will be a little bit bigger, thoughts?
