Thumbs up The Non Official SEMA 2013 Coverage Thread - Day 1

If you didn't follow our coverage last year, we got a lot of great shots of the 86 platform at SEMA. This year will be a repeat, however I'm going to separate the days into different threads. It was too picture intensive last year. Special thanks this year to @F1point4 for shooting with us this year.

Check out last year - http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20983

I noticed the ATI dampner is labeled "Dampner is Zero Balanced". What is the benefit other than being 10% underdrive? If this is the wrong place for this question please remove.

Just curious.. but is there a point to doing this with the license plate? If it's to hide the plate, I can still clearly read out the characters. Am I missing something here?

We're interested in this product as well, but tomorrow we'll give them the opportunity to cover all aspects.

Hopefully more video will follow on day 2.

Lol I don't care if people know my personal plate. It's the same one seen when I drive around town.

Wow I'm liking the Spyder headlights with the black housings. I'd be half tempted to buy some and split them open to remove the halo and have some knockoff JDM headlights.

There's a lot more to cover :-). We already have pictures of some other ones, but I think they need some video love as well.

all these great pics and info and all people can talk about so far is a how one random pic has a flipped over license and headlights that look like the euro spec gt86. i'm baffled. what about that 150k super car version? the 750hp supercharger kit!? those fucking sexy-as-sin blue wheels on the spyder car or the god damned motor swap shit or simply how unbelievably gorgeous some of these cars look.

actually, this will make the thump worse. This will stiffen the mount so much that any thump will transmit through the vehicle more audibly.

From what I understand, the thumping noise is the axles, not the differential. However, I was wrong once before about something, who's to say I'm not again.

@Chris@Phastek - any chance you guys can ask the Whiteline folks directly what their plans are for replacement of the Comp-C top mounts?

Does anyone have a photo of one of these installed for reference?

I already have the Cusco brace that locks the diff but would like to see how this installs
