I just ordered 18x8. Comes in a few oz shy of stock but will have added rubber weight even though i'm wrapping them tight. I'll weigh vs stock when it's all said and done and post pics on a BRZ.

You think it is possible to order a set of 17x9 +35 if we get enough people? Cause a +45mm offset is not a good one, to close to the stock suspension(it also rubs with this offset) and also won't give a nice concave look either.

Read that too fast. Tire rack posted the weight of the 18x8 TSP6 at 20.3 lbs. Stock weight of the 17 inch is 20.2 lbs. You'll surely cut weight over stock with 17's instead of 18's. I'll still be posting the weights and what not of the 18's i get to verify that weight.

-Reread again and i'm still probably being stupid. I can't comprehend english anymore. my bad.

I got the weight of the 17x8 directly from Enkei and they said 19.8 pounds for 17x8..seems like there should be a bigger difference than .5 pounds between those sizes but who knows.
My problem is that I want to mount a 225/45 pilot ss and they weigh 2 pounds more than the stock michelins, which would mean at least 1.6 pounds gained per corner.

Aren't stock rims 21.3 lbs? So these would be 1.5 lbs lighter. those PSS's would be 2 lbs over stock weight, so you'd only be 0.5 lbs additional per corner.

Whoa, those look a lot better than I thought they might. I'm obsessed with mesh style wheels, so when I settled on a straight spoke wheel I was afraid I'd only be okay with the look, but that looks pretty damn nice. Now I just need to find out if a gunmetal wheel looks okay on hot lava.

Yeah I think they look sweet, and in real life they won' t look so glossy and metallic from studio lighting. I think I'm going to get a set and mount the stock tires on them. @Nevermore
