Importing Parts

Does anyone where how I would begin to import parts from Japan or Europe. Such as head lights, TRD seats, etc
I heard there's places that specialize in importing parts. If so where are these located in soCal. Or do I have to coordinate something with someone over seas to have it sent here

Too lazy to search if a post like this exist but any info is helpful

Even though I'm a starving college student, I'd be down for that GB. Would love a frameless rearview mirror and those side markers. Why does the US use tacky amber color anyway? Don't they know it's ugly?
