The double front strut tower brace looks terrible -- couldn't they build a single piece that accomplishes the bracing of both?

Not all Cusco parts suck. Just some of them, I never bashed the brand myself, just the pointless and/or crap parts they sell.

On the other hand, this vendor really is top notch.

I wonder if this car will require strut bracing to improve performance especially with the Prius tires that it comes with. If a chassis is rigid enough, I don't think chassis bracing is necessary yet. I wonder what will happen when people start jumping into the street tire kings like RS3, Z1SS, AD08, RE11, etc. It's possible these chassis bracing will be useful when people start using NT01s, TDs, A6s!!

You can argue that, for street use, most, if not all, braces are a waste of money. I've always thought it was more of asthetic thing. I know that some can add to a more shaper feel, but hardly anything that would be positive for most street use.

I still might pick up a few items when my BRZ comes in. You know, for asthetic reasons.

Absolutely good point. Its seems a lot of kids' first mod to their cars are aesthetic based like bracing. This chassis uses a lot of high strength steels and promises decent rigidity out of the box...with OEM meats. Now, with stickier tires like you mention, that could change the game quite a bit. However, I think there are more "bang for the buck" performance improvements to be made before one addresses bracing of any sort (regardless of tire choice). Things like geometry correction (adding camber adjustability for one thing) and adjustable sway bars. I do like the Cusco adjustable rear arms. Looks to make camber adjustment easy(?). At least easier than WL's camber bush. I used their adjustable lateral links on my Scoob and was happy with how they held up, despite being a pillowball setup.
