OEM JDM Bumper Garnish

So I don't think anyone here has given detail on this product yet on here, but please correct me if I'm mistaken.

I picked up this item from this ebay listing:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scion-Fr-s-T...item27d831a610

Initially I was going to get the TRD bumper, but frankly it is quite a spendy setup for a part that is going to get scraped a lot. So I figured I'd get this part instead to add an extra touch to the bumper. I did think about just getting it vinyl wrapped, but I got this piece for the sake of being different; but of course it's more expensive than a wrap.

The badge I added onto the garnish here:

Little guide nub allows for fool proof alignment!

Just placed on the bumper for mockup, have not mounted yet since winter is coming anyways.

i really liked that piece but $200+ for a piece of plastic to cover the front bumper is not worth it at all... plasti-dip cost $8 and takes about an hour to do... i cant see myself spending that... i rather save up and get a spoiler, fogs, new wheels etc.

i agree it is an expensive piece of plastic. i tried the plasti dip route and i really don't like the finish of black plasti dip. i'm not ocd but i also don't like it to look cheap either. i recall when people started rattle canning cars in the 90s/2000s, and that cheap primer look has really left me scarred for life.

i had the same feelings too but to pony up that kind of money for that is a def. no go for me... there are so many other things i would rather get.

I like it. And I don't think it's too expensive. It's just priced in the same realm as all other TRD parts. It's basically an OEM quality modification. Sweet.

For part number it might be 08417-18010. More places where it can be found out by it instead of just few ebay offerings.

Just by chance stumbled upon listing with PN in it too unlike all the others. Remembering trying once in past to find it myself with no success, decided to post in here for reference, if someone will search & find this thread.
