Here are a few photos I snapped of the SSM BRZ that was at the D.C. Auto Show last month. Lighting at the show was awful as usual & the car was behind ropes in a cramped area so excuse the washed out colors & bad angles. Anyways, enjoy!

Thanks for sharing your pictures! I must admit [much to Zaku's appreciation] that the silver looks fantastic in that setting. I also like how the silver matches the dash trim.

It is a great looking silver, I'm not usually a huge fan of silver cars but the color is very silky and shows the car's contours nicely. The interior of the car is fantastic, I was blown away by the quality of the materials for the price range. Such a nice place to be!

I know the name of the color is different, the FR-S will be Argento & the BRZ will be Sterling Silver Metallic. Can anyone confirm they are the same? I'd be surprised if they were.

Yes, however IMO the BRZ's mustache, black bezel headlights, and spoiler really set off the silver. I saw the silver FR-S in person at NAIAS and wasn't blown away like I am with these pics.

They're all built at the same factory. The JDM Toyota color codes match USDM Subaru color codes.

I know I shouldn't think this way, but driving a Scion still bothers me. I never liked the idea of a "youth" brand & I wish they would have just left them Toyotas from the beginning (all Scions). I don't have a problem with the cars at all but I just would feel more comfortable driving a Subaru or a Toyota...mainly because of the brand stigma which I realize is sort of silly in the first place. I wish Scion just never existed.

I don't want to be one of the guys that rebadges, but I think I may have to. It's different than the guys with G35s who put SKYLINE badges on em, right? ARGH!

Another thought is why not just get the BRZ at that point, I love WRB...but I prefer the front end of the FR-S. Fuck you Toyota for making this such a stressful decision for me.

Haha! Their gold so I'm not sure they'll match unless you get gold wheels.

I have SWP in number 1. If I don't like the white in person, I will go WRB. If still, I don't like it, I will go red/silver.

For FRS I am- SWP, Red, DGM. There are barley any black accents on the FRS so Silver is a little lower in that list

Aw damn lolz. Would've been hilarious to have Corolla badges on this thing, since we're USDM haha. Little kids would have no idea what it was all about haha.

Lol well, this model Corolla has it in a gray plastic panel looking thing across the rear trunk, no Corolla badges here.

SSM is my first choice as everyone already know for both cars, but I'm keeping an open mind.
Scenerio:


Because you cann never tell with cars and I like to hunt down the car I want but just In case... Say I go to a dealer and Im like I like to order a SSM premium please, and they say we have one on the lot the person who ordered didn't like it after the test drive. It's a CBS though, and it turns out I can get some haggling in and save alittle. Instead or ordering and waiting for three four months I prolly go with the CBS, or WRB, or SWP etc.
