Ah, I've only seen one yellow Corvette in person. Likely why I don't think of it.

That HIgh Voltage yellow TC is really nice actually I've seen them in person. makes me wish they offered Cement as a color choice too. I like DGM but I wished they offered a light Gray like Silvestone or Cement.

I don't think I could buy a yellow car with the way I drive. I'd stick out too much. Had really good luck with my white cars in terms of not getting pulled over, but black and grey cars were the worst for me. I'm sure red, yellow or orange would be suicide.

Not that I drive dangerously or anything!

Having a WRX wagon has played out well for me. My exhaust is a wee bit loud and a few times I've stirred up some attention, only to have been overlooked by the authorities due to the inconspicuous silver wagon.

I've had three yellow cars (first car I owned was a yellow '78 Civic, also a '73 Corvette convertible, and later a 04 Tiburon). I NEVER get pulled over, but I got pulled over in all three of those. That wouldn't stop me from getting another yellow car, though.

Hey guys. I've been lurking for a while, but figured I might as well register since I have my FRS on order.

My name is Morgan. Im on a few different forums, but spend most of my time on Acurazine (same screen name). Im in Richmond but travel throughout VA for work. I hope to make it out to some meets this year.

Welcome! Nice to see another Honda/Acura fan here, I'm jealous of your CL-S...I drove a 6MT one a few years back but found out it was a salvage title, that car is a blast though.

Thanks! I love it. I used to have an 88 Civic hatch and a 94 Prelude too, the CL was a massive step up. But I cant wait to get my FRS.

Hello everyone! We specialize in suspension and brakes for Subaru Impreza, Legacy, and Mistubishi EVO. We make a couple of our own parts and focus on functional improvements to handling.

We have a white BRZ on order (and may have already had one to play with and take apart for a while).

Looking forward to meeting everyone. We'll definitely have a meet this summer.

Hi everyone--I've been lurking here for a while. I haven't placed an order for either car yet but I probably will upon experiencing them both in person.

I currently drive a Suzuki SX4 6MT on the stiffest coils available. The car is 2 inches shorter than the 86 and handles pretty darn well (reason/intention I got it...plus it was light, simple, cheap, new, and pretty unique because no one buys Suzukis).

I really can't wait to own something purpose-built to handle with an actual aftermarket and local/regional meets.

Looking forward to it!

Hey everyone! I've lurked here awhile (I think I made a screen name when this forum was created, but I forgot the info) but just recently started posting. I live in Fairfax and just put in my order on Saturday for a Black BRZ Limited. I was uncertain if I wanted this car because of the power numbers when compared to some comparable models (s2k, GC, Z), but after driving it I was impressed enough to place my order. It's going to strain the wallet more than my current WRX, and the back seats are useless, but I figured I can get away with that while I'm young.

Anyway, I hope to get out for a couple local meets both for BRZ/FR-S drivers and all cars meets too. I'm pretty excited for the potential aftermarket support for a car like this, too.

Tom

Another new member with a bugeye WRX (original owner) from DC-area. Looking at the BRZ as a strong possibility as a second car to keep the miles off the bugeye.

Looking forward to seeing the aftermarket potential of these cars, even though I'd probably just do wheels and lip kit for now – looking at Galaxy or Rally blue + matte black CE28N – but then again I tend to change my mind a lot in 10 years of owning the same car

Dark_Angle checking in. I am located in the hills of the Shenandoah Valley also can be refered to as Harrisonburg VA. I am a fabricator and all around DIY'er. I have the #1 order placed at Mcdonough Toyota.

-White manual

I might change my mind though when I see them in person in a couple of weeks at the First drive event.

Great to be here.

Hey everybody I'm Matt. Lurked here for a while getting info on the cars. Decided I was going to buy an FR-S after attending the First Drive event in Baltimore. I live around Tysons Corner so pretty easy to jump around the D.C. area quickly for meet ups if we have those.

Also, don't know if anyone else has gotten an ETA on their delivery, I ordered my FR-S from Koons in Tysons and they just called me today saying my car should arrive week of June 4th. I'm #4 on their list so that's the first round of cars. Incoming Hot Lava MT omnomnom.

Another DC/NoVA new member checking in here. Just placed my deposit for a Firestorm AT FR-S with Lustine Scion in Woodbridge yesterday. I doubt it'll be with the first lot but hopefully I'll have it by the end of the summer.

I'll be trading in my beloved (but not quite that beloved) 2010 Scion tC.
