That happens a lot. When I was in Cambodia, I also rode ones of those scooters and crashed. LOL I think I crashed like 7 times on scooters and non on sportbike and dirt bike. It was a fun experience though.

My god these people are daft and crazy. Just look at the way they are driving with cars and trucks around. The majority of those accidents are the motorcyclists fault in this video.

This is a compilation of many accident videos on YouTube. The scooters are very popular in Asia and they are the transportation methods of many young people. However, it is also dangerous as well.

Speaking of that person opening the door, I suspect he/she actually push the door out and for e another motorist to fall. Intentionally? I dont know.

True. But there are also cases where the drivers are not looking at blind spot when turning. Driving in this condition really need to look at all directions before you make a turn.

I'd rather play Russain roulette than ride a bike in China/India/etc. When I was in small crowded streets in China it was normal for cars to nudge up and push me out the way to get by. I'm 6'3" and 215lbs.!!! I'd regularly see guys on bikes bouncing off cars as they pushed them out the way. Add in the fact that they don't seem to obey any law/rules on the road and you've got a one way ticket to meet the big guy upstairs. I won't even get into the fact that they seem to think you can fit 3 cars in one lane. LMAO

Aren't motorcycles/scooters the main mode of transportation over cars in Asia? I would assume that you'd have more motorcycle wrecks with more of them on the road. A lot of those looks like rider error, if your stupid in a car you'll wreck, same for motorcycle riders. Kinda sad to see car drives also not really aware of what is around them. Remember watching an M13 vid(if you know who that is) and he explained crashes in Asia so much better.

I'm not sure I would want to ride a bike regularly again...yes I am talking about a bicycle, IN AMERICA. I had 2 rear wheels destroyed by dumb shit drivers who hit me as I go straight and they decide to turn too soon.

That reminds me of when I was riding mopeds in Hawaii and in the Philippines!

After watching this vid, the people riding the mopeds seemed to be ones causing the most ruckus.

Yeah, some of them are the crazy ones. They do not obey the laws, nor do they look around for traffic. As you can see from the video, many riders (motorcyclist or cyclist) simply go straight after crossing the two cars that block your view of oncoming traffic, and they think the world is theirs that no other cars will come.

To Serialk11r: you should think twice when you ride a bicycle now. I can see there are some moron SUV drivers who will not see you on the road..

Some people think that crashing on a barebone bike or a scooter is not dangerous. After watching the video, I think, riding China is a lot worse compares to Cambodia. My British friends in Cambodia said " If you can drive/ride in Cambodia, you can drive/ride anywhere else in the world." I think I need to recommend them to go to China.

Good thing about China is larger roads have a blocked off bicycle/motorcycle section. The worst part about China is the drivers who don't care about laws at all, cyclists are slightly more careful IMO. Sometimes in traffic you'll see some douchebag in a giant SUV decide to drive onto the sidewalk!

Want FR-S, I got hit by a sedan! The guy could see me, he was just too impatient to wait the 0.2 seconds it would take for me to get out of the way...but speaking of SUV/trucks, in CA we don't have many lifted trucks but once I saw this ginormous lifted truck that was so high I couldn't see past it in my mom's rather tall Honda Pilot at an intersection! grr....

I got hit by a bus. The guy saw me and he said "I thought you were going slow." Without all those protective gears, I don't think I can type this to you.

Hahahaha I know! Going to the Philippines by the time you are 12 you should know how to ride a motorcycle and if not you should be learning stick in a car. LOL I had to learn both at 12 but I'm lucky when I rode a motorcycle not to be a victim in that video.

Most of them seemed to crash b/c they don't know how to ride or they are drunk.

If you don't know how to, your pinsans will teach you. When I went to the P.I back in '08, scooters and dirtbikes were everywhere. I was pulling wheelies down the street and the "Pulis" didn't seem to care.
