Ah, that's unfortunate. I just got a reply back from my rep after confirming my color (staying the same, Asphalt/MT) and asking her for any new info on accessories.

Thank you for confirming your color and transmission choice. We have set aside this vehicle already to be sure it's ready when it arrives at port.

We have not been given an official list of accessories for the FR-S at this time. As of my training last week, I do know that there will be limited accessories available at launch.

Per our HQ, we have also been told we will be sure to make things right for the First 86 customers who want an accessory that won't be available at launch.

I wish I had more information for you but as of now, that's all I've got. When more concrete information has been given to us, I will be sure to let you know."

Anyone else a "little" surprised that we haven't heard anything from Scion since the Long Beach event? I figured we would have heard something by now.

Yeah, I thought I heard a rumor about remote control FR-S cars or something. Meh, I have a delivery date so I'm ok. Going to stop by the dealership tomorrow and give them a check for approx what the amount should be. That way I don't have to deal with finance dept day of purchasing.

Did you get the call fr a Regional rep to say Congrats and such?

Mine is for the NW and he was all pumped to have like 4-5 1st 86 in his area. He said he would be at dealership when I take delivery and to call if I need anything/have questions. He est. 2nd or 3rd week of May to arrive for me.

Your dealer and mine must be related...0 word, after 3 phonecalls and 2 emails without so much as a reply, i just stopped contacting them. They'll call me eventually, i'm starting to not care anymore

No, nothing from the Southeast Regional Rep. Only contact I've had at all that I did not initiate came from Scion Customer Experience/Contest promoters, and a single call from a different dealer trying to snipe the 1st86 position from the dealer in my email.

They might, but it would most likely mean a delay in delivery. Your call of course. All they can do is say no.

I got a voicemail from the GM at my dealer saying they should have the last 8 of my VIN within a week or so. Thats the first time theyve contacted me since I put down my deposit. No other info, unfortunately.

Im hoping they do something really special for us. Since they selected me a week before the LB trip, I wasnt able to go. Its unlikely that Id get the car if its simply a "congrats, you were selected to give us $25k!!".

Got the call from my dealership yesterday (Friday, May 4th). Mine will be here Thursday! There's going to be an "unveiling" of the car at 7pm that night on the showroom floor. I can pick it up Friday morning!!!

ah ha! dealer just called, my car will get here on the 15th! and they said they want to take some pictures (i tried to plug him into some freebies in exchange for using me for buzz factor but the guy doesn't seem that into it, whatever) !!!

and (i just don't know where else to share this overflowing excitement) wifey just called, she said we need to go see the doctor asap :swallow: is it what i think it is... 2 very important phone calls, back to back.....

Well, scratch that. I got an email today from the dealership saying that Toyota is postponing the delivery now. SO, the event won't be until next Tuesday (May 15th). What a way to burst someone's bubble!!! Oh well, what are ya gonna do?
