What happened during the batman premiere in colorado today is just horrific.

My condolences go out to you giccin, it's tough but you gotta keep your head up and move on. Jedibow had his wife of 8 years cheat on him, in the other thread... after some venting and therapy from the ft86club relationship counseling team he's back on his feet(AFAIK), come join the discussion if you'd like. I would suggest going drifting; burn some rubber and forget about this loser, he doesn't know what he's missing out on

Looking around found a good deal on a Nikon D5100.. What you guys think? Good camera? Or is their a better one out there?

Hmm, then a better question is best bang for the buck?

I've seen the Nikon D5100 in 1st place best selling DSLR on Amazon for a while now, and I like their options of over 150+ lenses. Best Canon in the same class is the T3i but it cost ~$300 more

Well yeah, generally Nikon can be a bitch though if you want to upgrade down the road versus Cannon, since imo they're more flexible in that department. If money is a problem, I suggest buying used since some photographers like to ditch their old equipment and try to buy the newest thing, so there's still good cameras/equipment out there for the taking. It depends if like used or want brandy new things.

I just want a camera that takes good pics have 1080 video and be in a dslr body because of the awesome sensor lens with a good and cheap lens line.. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?

Yeah, I miss neons.org. The tech sections had this innate ability to weed out ass hats. They were directed to maintenance sections and the tech threads were vastly, compared to other forums anyway, left to people that could at least understand what they were reading and could ask an intelligent question.

I'm hoping that with time well get there. But if NASIOC is any example I might be hoping for a long time.

Left my car parked on the pavement and what does it do? It leaks oil all over the place. Great. I guess I better get that rear main seal done when I swap the tranny. I got the kitty litter on the stain so hopefully I won't have to use toxic earth killing chemicals to remove it.
