Here's another option, Block8head defrost vent pod. Dude uses oem vent so quality is top notch. Placement does not interfere with view whatsoever as it's tucked in nicely between pillar and dash. Vent is still functional.

Random bobcat casually strolls along a few feet in front of my car while taking the pics. Took me a sec to realize he/she wasn't just a kitty.

Thought I'd throw in a shot of my girl while at it. She a lil dirtay. Damn you raven.

That defrost vent is nice! Also liking the wheel style and fitment. Nice job.

Damn that defrost pod is nice. I definitely would have bought that if I had known about it prior to getting the A pillar gauge pod. I wonder if I could fit a second gauge in there and keep my A pillar gauge pod.

Judging from your pics, it does not look like it will fit. Also might interfere w airbag? Let me know if you need me to take more pics.

Any chance someone could make a panel to hold a single din stereo and three gauges like this, just not wrapped in the worst color leather ever. Simple plastic would be fine by me.

Sorry for the delayed response. Weird, I didn't get notification for the post quote.

Installation is super easy. Use trim tool, pry out oem vent, slap on new vent pod, done in seconds.

Purchase on ebay. Am I allowed to post seller's name here? PM on the way just in case.

I've 3 60mm defi gauges to site in my brz and I am not feeling the love for any location

I don't need a factory fit finish as it is my trackday toy and I don't want them to be easily visible from outside. Don't mind attaching to cheapie trim pieces.

Might try siting them on the passenger side of the centre console somewhere, angled towards the drivers side.

Ok not line of sight but an easy and quick glance on the straights.

Figured i'd chime in here to let you guys know I have an A-Pillar pod in the works for the frs/brz! I have been hand making a-pillar pods for the 08+ Wrx/STi's for about 4 years now over on wrxforums (Formerly 3gwrx), and recently started making them for NC Miata's, Gen coupes, and anything else that really has a market for them! Hope to become a vendor here to be able to sell them. Not sure if there are any a-pillar solutions out there yet for the brz/frs but from what I have researched so far, it dosen't look like it. Anyway, I hope to have the first pod done before the end of April! Here is a pic I dug up of a good friend of mine's gencoupe that I made a double pod for...

*Edit* After breezing through this thread saw there are indeed others that have also done the a-pillar's. They look good in the brz
