Hey Folks - thought you'd enjoy a growing collection of video promotions being run by Toyota NZ - the 'story' is that the launch of the 86/FRS in New Zealand has been highjacked by the Fun Police

Second vid has a few references to sporting failures involving NZ cricket, sailing and rugby national teams but that aside most of you will recognise the humour and great shots of the 86

The campaign is more fun than just the videos. There's codes "hidden" in the videos and on posters/billboards all round the country and for entering the codes you can get entries into a draw to win an "extended test drive" of an 86 for 86 days... needless to say heaps of us are going nuts about it.

Are you playing Mr Muzace? How many are you up to?

Hey Kniteowl - love the Fun Police campaign but I haven't got into the code thing. Toyota haven't bought the 86 version I want to market yet - roll on the RS version! I have a road legal DC2 Integra Type-R race car that'll likely go up for sale when the 86 RS hits the showrooms. Until then I'll keep my powder dry.

I'm talking about the high performance version Toyota are working on - I've called it RS for want of a better name because that's the Toyota standard for the high perf model recently. Who knows what they'll call it but it's what I'm waiting for and my bet is on a supercharged 260-280 bhp powerplant - space, heat, and emissions suggest this will be the likely option

With you all the way lazyluka - the DC2 R is a hard act to follow but the high perf 86 version is likely to be just the ticket to make me part with mine.
