Looking for an STi Swap

We're Looking for a local BR-Z / FRS owner who wants to test fit a swap for an STi Turbo'ed Engine into their car. I have the complete EJ motor on site. We'll drop the stock motor and mock up the new one at no cost you to you.

If you were located closer, I'd be very tempted . Does the lucky owner get to keep the STi motor or is this just a test fit?

Once we determine what's required to make it fit, we'll be offering these as swap kits.

I'm located literally around the corner. Drove by your shop today, actually.

Every time someone posts something like this I wish I had a second car so I could be without mine for a time.

Anxious to see how this turns out.

I think someone should buy this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-Subaru-I...8e2d2d&vxp=mtr

And we'll install it for free.

Better to buy one without the trans, me thinks.

We've yet to determine whether or not the STi block will bolt up to the FR-S/BR-Z trans and whether or not it will hold the type of power we're considering...

I can't remember very clearly either way, but there was a thread about that. I think when someone fitted a cosworth engine to the car.

I recall the builders of the Greddy car telling Super Street that the trans housing was not compatible, which caused them to make a custom one.
