NICE WORK!!!!

Since the steering is one of the many things that you'll constantly see when driving, it looks so much better!! This is one of the list of mods that I plan to do so hopefully the cost will come down when its my time.

I hope the cost goes down too so other people can do this. I just got impatient and did it anyway lol.

I don't blame ya b/c if I had the car, I would probably do the same thing. I was really bummed out when they first unveiled it as a FR-S and it didn't have the 86 steering wheel.

I don't think it's worth the amount you pay for it, but I will admit it looks REALLY good.

As a UCLA student, I've gotta say the USC stereotype holds true in this case.

Regardless, nice to see another FRS/86/BRZ in LA!

Well off enough to blow $800 on swapping out a logo, regardless. I can hardly get myself to put that much toward an exhaust

For a minute, you got me thinking "fuck, did I put the front one in the back?" but then I remembered, no I put the smaller of the two in the back hahaha

Looks so good man. Loved it in person. Also the frameless mirror. I'm planning on changing out the airbag myself. Though it's definitely not at the top of my list. I didn't think the igniter was that easy to remove from the assembly.

The frameless mirror is sexy. Even my girl was like "ooooh that's nice!"

Yeah the entire airbag job took less time than rebadging did lol.

cost aside,

the 86 steering wheel looks 10,000X better then the scion one,
the 86 one looks more refined,
the scion one is tacky and cheap looking, almost a afterthought in production..oh wait it was..
i'll most likely buy a brz cos i would not want to see that metal badge in my face every time i sit in my car,

You don't make sense the brz also has a badge on its steering wheel.

All these haters on here...your car is legit dude. I was on the fence about the mirror but after seeing it on your car it's now a must have.

I'm a fan... as a former owner of an RSX Type-S that had nearly everything converted to Honda Integra Type-R, I can appreciate what you're doing. The one thing I was never able to get my hands on was the stupid steering wheels/airbag cover. I hated that A logo.. a couple of times I almost had my hands on an EP3 steering wheel, but the deals never quite worked out.

It's like what I tell everyone: you may not like what he did to the car but its HIS car let him do what he wants.

Totally there with you. I had an RSX-S and wanted to do the conversion, until I found out I would have to change out my entire interior (I had the White pearl with tan interior) to make it work. So I just said "forget it". So I guess in retrospect, I'm overcompensating for the lost opportunity with my RSX.
