My father checked the price in Oman:

Manual (lowest trim): 11,000 OMR (~ 105,000 AED) (Not in stock - 6alab only)
Auto (2nd trim): 11,500 OMR (~ 110,000 AED) :: I might buy, BUT seems overpriced?*

*The car seem to come with the Premium Headlights (Black Housing rather than all chromed headlights), rear parking sensors and perhaps some other stuff.
I am not sure, does the Middle-East version come with more feautures?

One guy bought the base manual model for AED 95K, the other bought the mid-range automatic for AED 115K.

The base automatic in the UAE is AED 100K and comes with no LSD..

For Subaru, as they told me, first batch will be on 22 Jun, 5 cars, just one car MT, price is 126k QR for MT and add 5k QR for AT. They will call me when it arrive.

Sorry guys, just a quick off topic question. I am moving to Dubai soon. My friend has an original 1986 Left Hand Drive AE86, 2 door coupe. It is the fixed headlight model (looks similar to a JDM Levin). The car has been used as a track car, has coilovers, TRD 2 ways LSD, TRD gearset, roll cage etc.

Will it be possible to register this car for road use in Dubai? It is road legal here in the UK.

Also, I recommend you join www.evolve.ae and inquire about this as several members there have been bringing several rides from outside the UAE and they can explain to you how to get things sorted in more detail. I am a member there aswell..

I was at Goodwood earlier on today. Got an opportunity to see the GRMN Gazoo Sports FR Concept 86 up close today! Looks amazing and the bodywork mods have a great effect.

I have learned about some of frs/brz owners reporting an idle issues on this forum, and i was trying to hold my self from buying until the 2014 model is being released, but i couldn't do it, So I said
