Raven Black, will be getting a full vinyl wrap most likely from Guardline in Tacoma, WA. Thinking about an F35 Joint Strike Fighter look. Two tone flat grey/black w/ a ghosted logo down the side and maybe some wild tail end look similar to the Navy F35's:

As soon as it comes in, our development schedule will be back on track and we'll be building like crazy. Thinking about getting the quad tip valence garnish from TRD and getting that quad tip design finalized as well.

We do have plans to take this muffler delete and give some options to it - add a double wall exhaust tip, maybe throw a little canister muffler into it as well. Not as light, but still a LOT lighter than the factory muffler. Let us know if you're interested in something like that and we can dial it in for you.

Jason

Canister would be a good option as well as a dual straight pipes

What about the aerodynamic concerns? Before the belly of the muffler would act as a diffuser to help the car suction, now there is a big space and the bumper acts as a somewhat parachute

Perhaps create a plastic diffuser peace to go along with the track pipe for track use?

True, but the muffler had some pipes along the side and crap and the rear suspension was completely exposed. Good opportunity to cover it all up!

I would like to see an under-tray and diffuser set made for this car. Full body length cover. Lotus style!

To the OP: I'd love to hear some sound clips if you have the time & means.

Trying to get around to it. If I can't do it this week I'll get some video for sure at the autox this weekend.

DIY FTW.
Underneath the passenger area the car is alright, suspension is uncovered which needs to be fixed, engine area is not too bad either, and the bumper diffuser attachment makes it easy to mount your own sheet of [choice of material]. They claim to have gotten the angle/height already correct for you

We have been considering a faceted sheet metal (.050 or .065 5052 Aluminum unit) diffuser back there as well. Perhaps integrating it into a differential skidplate as well.

I'm not jerking your chain when I say: Will Do.

The underside of the passenger compartment is fantastically flat, but the rest of the car could get some serious belly pan treatment. We've got a six axis digitizing arm and have already started hacking away at digitizing the various undercarriage parts. As we lay out our chassis bracing, the logical next step is laying out upgraded undertray repalcements as well as functional diffuser options. We worked a while back with an aircraft engineer who we build Jaguar parts for who was designing a full nomex/kevlar honeycomb belly pan for his XKR. Savage. Also about as dear as a differential cover made of cast powdered unicorn horn amended with dodo bird tears.

I ran without the axel back for one day while waiting for my nameless axle back. It doesn't sound too bad. Pretty quiet at idle when the car is warmed up. At WOT over 5k it sounded kinda bad though. As if the engine was going to implode into a black hole. .... Yea like that would sound like

MTeator, how long did it take you to get your muffler delete pipe from Nameless? I ordered mine a week ago, my credit card was charged immediately, nothing was said about it being backordered, and still no shipping confirmation or other correspondence from Nameless.

Wow what a novel concept, using the phone Yes, I tried calling them during business hours, no answer.

I went back and saw the small print at the bottom of my receipt that their standard lead time is 10 days before shipping (but may be longer). Would have been nice to see that on the product page, instead of my order confirmation after my card was charged.

I understand small businesses cranking out custom made car parts, which is one of the reasons I'd rather not tie them up on the phone asking about my order, and why I asked another customer of theirs how long his order took for the same item. It would just be nice to know if I could expect in in 2 weeks or 4 weeks or 6 weeks, or what.

They make everything to order, so everything is generally 7-10 days out before shipping. That's what you get when you want a hand made part instead of a manufactured 1 of a million made in china. Pros and cons, I guess.
7-10 days is pretty normal for them.

We build everything to order. We don't 'stock' anything. Your parts will be built Monday or Tuesday and will be shipped the day they are built. You will receive a tracking number via e-mail. Send me an email and we can chat further: jason.g@namelessperformance.com

I think you've got a good point here. These are fairly simple parts to make and are currently not configurable so when we build the run with yours I'll shoot for building some overstock so this doesn't happen to future customers. We do work really hard to take care of our customers. The reason you got no answer is because we were on the other line. We've been short handed this week as my business partner is out running the service crew for one of the two Summit Rally Team S13's at the New England Forest Rally. It's their last Rally in the US before returning home to Australia....so it's also our last chance to support them and get some more first hand feedback on the 4130 chromoly control arms, 7075 aluminum skidplates, 304SS Exhausts we built for the cars. All of the knowledge gained is going to go right back into our development process for the control arms on the 86.

Appreciate your patience, as we grow we are constantly forced to make decisions on where to invest time in order to upgrade our processes and workflow so that we can support new markets like this one. Last week we spent two days doing construction work to streamline our production process as well. We're seeing astronomical growth (we're 3 years old and had over 300% growth vs. last years sales numbers) and we are committed to being as connected with our customers as possible.
