I just finished watching round 1 Swedish rally on my DVR, round 2 is mexico block is doing much better with his fiesta. I like the new engine rules 1.6liter turbo, no dual clutch paddle shift only single clutch sequential, no adjustable electric center diff., I'm actually enjoying it + loeb lost on round 1.

I like the 1.6L idea, but why ban dual clutches and electronic diffs, when you can get production cars that have them?

Instead of banning all this stuff, they should bring back strict homologation rules with larger production minimums. You want a WRC car with turbo, dual clutch, AWD e-diff, etc...? Build it for the public first.

I guess they want to make drivers work more or back to basic, I do like the idea thou shows how good WRC drivers, driving one hand on steering wheel one on shifter like on the era of colin mcrae.
