Perrin Intake Inlet Hose Review and Install

Part #PSP-INT-430RD

First mod time! Got it in today and slapped this bad boy on. Perrin CAI on backorder.

Review:
A lot less engine cabin noise from it deleting the cabin hose on the stock inlet. I can still hear the engine good enough even on the stock exhaust though. Not much more to say besides it looks sweet. Not a big fan on how close it is to that belt... Made me really uneasy at first, but thinking about it that belt should move the same as the inlet with the inlet being connected to the throttle body. So I am not too worried or I may be wrong. Honestly though 5/5 for Perrin.

Install:
The instructions came with it. Very straight forward. Only one complain and I will show it in the picture bellow. I went step by step from the instructions and they specifically say to reuse the pinch clamp that is already on the crank case vent hose. IMA TELL U RIGHT NOW THAT CLAMP DON'T FIT! I even tried the slightly bigger pinch clamp that is used on the cabin tubing I took off. Still too small. I looked up pictures on google images and nobody has the pinch clamp on there so watever I guess.... Not too happy knowing I "skipped a step" but maybe that will be ok too. The cover for the remaining cabin tubing fit perfect though, that was super nice.

SHOUTOUT: Huge thanks to Performance-spec.com who is a registered Vendor on here @Performance Spec . He is having a sale on all his Perrin stuff and price was so sick. Still waiting for the full CAI on back order but he still hooked up that on sale price!

Good show!

Thanks for posting.

For your next presentation, I suggest you reduce the picture size.

You may wish to keep an eye in the part of the intake that is close to the belt, in case the belt gets to jumping around and nicks it.
