Got rear ended, car won't start?

The light turned red and I stopped, after stopping I heard tires screeching and got rear ended HARD. Back, shoulders and neck feels like crap. Long story short, I turned the car back on, back it into an empty lot and exchanged information. He knew he was and not fault, it all went well until we were about to be on our way. My FRS would start. Won't crank or turn over. No idea why given I was and not let to park the car in the lot after getting hit.

It doesn't look like much but the trunk doesn't close, the crash bar/bumper or whatever caused the frame for the trunk to cave in, upwards from what I can see from under the car.

From the looks of it, I'd need a new bumper, bumper cover, trunk and the frame of the trunk fixed. Aside from that, I was wondering if maybe some anti theft crap engage or there's a cutoff switch for the for fuel or something causing it to not start. I'm at a loss.

Do the interior lights and radio work? If not, check the battery connections. The impact may have knocked them loose.

My bet is on neutral safety switch...

Is it an Auto? If auto, try starting in neutral and moving the selector linkage...

If it is a manual, make sure clutch is all the way depressed and floor mat is not blocking it

Interior lights work, radio stopped working. Connections to the battery posts are good.

Clutch was fully pressed when trying. It started right up immediately after it was hit. Didn't start after I turned it off the second time when I parked it in a lot.

Plugged up my OBDII reader and my OFT and neither showed anything out of the ordinary.

Can you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds when you turn on the ignition? It should pump up pressure on the rail.

Check the 7.5 amp "stop" fuse. It incapacitates the car. It's an additional safety feature.

To those who are suggesting fuel pump- no crank at all.

We know it's not the fuel pump or battery or battery connection. He has power and the engine won't crank at all. When you turn the key, do you here a click from the engine area? Listen at the fuse box while someone turns the key, you're looking for the sound of a relay clicking. Listen near the starter for a much louder single click from the starter. Get back to us

Also- it's a standard right? Did you try to push start it?

That was a typo. It won't start after I was able to move it from the street. No noise at all.

It's this. Most cars for the last ten years or so have a cutoff that disables the car when it's been hit. I was involved in a chain reaction a few years ago and the Audi behind me showed no damage at all but wouldn't start and couldn't even be put in neutral to roll it out of the way. Really pissed the cops off too because it had the ramp onto the interstate completely blocked so about 15 of us lifted it out of the way to get the road open again.

I hope this is it. Im sure the damage is already well over 4 5k. Covered obviously but I won't be able to drive it while it's being repaired. I will be heading out to check on it soon. Will update.
