With that one I disagree.
1 Piston brakes have a big disadvantage when it comes to brake pad wear and stopping power. If you use your car for buying groceries then I agree. There are also no good brake pads available for 1 piston brakes. |

I must admit 6 pot calipers IMO are a tad over kill for a car of this size.

There is never too much stopping power. It is always nice if you can stop from 100 km/h to 0 km/h in 2 sec.

Those brakes would seem fitting on a 500 bhp heavy beast. All you need is 4/2 pistons for this car if you think the stocks won't be adequate.

Pretty cool list of parts. Not sure if I would get any of them but TRD did a good job.

To say the truth I'd be more interested in TRD lowerwing springs, wheel spacers and the strutt bar is fine. For exhaust I prefere the STI one, and 6/4 pistons is really too much, 4/2 are just what it needs, especially in a racecar with 17" rims.

I'm intrigued about the shock absorbers, though - I had a Miata with Tokico Illuminas that had adjustable damping, and I had FM lowering springs. Car could HANDLE!!! Ride was pretty tight, but was pretty good on the freeway. Beat you up in town. I'm not sure I'd want something quite that... severe again. 'Specially at my age. |
