GREAT video just came out on this very subject. He dyno tested the same exact setup using different back pressures, wanna guess which one made the most power? Spoiler alert, it's obvious

He is artificially changing the back pressure by keeping the exhaust size same. In this way the lower the back pressure the better.

When I see someone use the term "back pressure" vs turbulence and laminar flow, I already know there is a fundamental misunderstanding of the concept.
