Have you tried going for a bit more power than carb legal tune?

Do you happen to have a dyno comparing the REALLY low RPM ranges? I know it's not typical due to lugging, but it's nice to have

They recommend it so oild doesnt drain into the charger but it really doesnt matter.
The scavenge pump within the charger will pump all the oil out in a matter of a few revolutions.
Mine is high mounted and Oscar said its perfectly fine.

Just read all 28 pages. I didn't see many dyno sheets, so I don't have a firm understanding of the upper limits for the kit. I am really happy about there being a lack of issues with this kit, but I'm probably only going to purchase this for the CARB (and piggy) protection this kit can provide.

What type of numbers might this kit run with the smaller pulley, a good source of e85 (well, e82-84, typically), a 265 pump and 550cc injectors?

if i purchase this unit, will it be just plug and play? what will it measure exactly? thanks in advance.
I'd recommend you get an AIM Solo DL instead. It costs more, but logs, rather than being just a display that stores peaks.

Rumor has it CSG may be doing a private group buy in the near future.

I don't know with a smaller pulley, but I can confirm that with a stock pulley, E85, cat deletes, and a retune, the kit will make ~325whp, and is clutch limited. The next limitation would be the pump, and THEN possibly injectors.

You can power-oversteer pretty much at will.

That's great! It's not far off from where I'm at now then. I put down 330 on Bill's Mustang with the C38 on e60, stock clutch, stock exhaust except for catback, 265 pump and 550cc injectors.

My clutch seems to be holding up fine under normal WOT shifting (for now).

Any speculation on psi with the forthcoming smaller pulley?

Psi is linear with supercharger RPMs. If you increase RPMs 10%, you can increase a 10% in psi.

I don't like using Psi as a measurement, because it tells you nothing of actual flow, or how much air mass is going into the engine.

The desire for power is subjective. Consistent power works better for our application. While numbers are great to visualize the limitations, the CARB tune is the product of testing in many different environments (weather + tracking) that have produced no problems. In other words, while the common habit is to retune for the proper elevation changes, temperature, and application, the CARB tune already covers all of that.

On another note, it's great to troll people with a CARB legal setup. I mean, BRZ #1 had zero ECU and engine mods done to it too.

So are you saying that the carb tune is the better way to go?

If you're not going to get any other bolt-ons? Yes.
