Yup, haven't tried any of my flashes and probably won't, i will have to speak with Rob and Toma about tuning when I return from vacation, I've also spoken to John and he is up for this as well but ultimately if Toma does end up buying and ecutek licence that would be a win win for me

Dayum, I love the way the kit is looking. Simple and effective with measureable results. Would be great to see how it pairs up with E85.

So. How long are we looking at before this kit is available. And still wandering on prices.

I also had another big question.
Would this work the same if you mounted different. I wouldn't think it would make a difference but you never know. And what I mean is if you wanted to use something other than the stock air box. Like a cone filter or even add piping. Might be easiest to chop up an aftermarket intake just to make it easier to keep the maf.
Only reason I'm asking is to clean it up a bit. I know it would mostly be for looks as the filter wouldn't add much power.

- I absolutely love not needing to downshift to pass in 5th and 6th gear!

- off the line acceleration it where I find this most addictive, I will do a video with the Echarger off and on 1-3 gears this week to give you an idea.

- I love that I can turn this off at any time and drive completely NA, at the end of the day for me NA is still NA and it very fun to drive as well

- I have yet to out drive the battery, meaning even when its not at full charge it still had plenty of go.

these are just my first impressions, its been a busy weekend for me and I did not get to spend any time with the car yesterday.

My video review will provide much better feedback via commentary while driving, I'm planning on doing something along the lines of doing the same route with the charger off and then on.

So far I LOVE IT! this is perfect if you are just looking for the extra kick but not a high cost build, install was easy, hardest part was drilling the rivets to remove the resonator from the air box. No draining of fluids, no removing bumper, just simple.

Rob gave me a few days to test it before taking any sort of payment, as of this morning I basically said to him "Take my money" lol
who's selling this kit and how much is it?

Not sure if it has enough PSI to warrant cooling the charge. Still seems to be a great solution for high altitude.

It's up on the site now, but no price. Getting closer. 1 week, 1 month, 1 quarter. Who knows? All I can tell is, there will be serious demand.

There is no way to purchase it yet so I don't think so.

There was so much talk about this thread that I had to unsubscribe. Then I had a freaking dream we started selling it. Days later my wife tells me that I talk about work in my sleep.

As much as I think it's a great idea, demand will really come down to price, and how much customization it requires for different cars. As much attention as it's gotten on this forum lately when you really look at if the price is say $1000 their probably aren't all that many serious buyers. If it were closer to $500 then no doubt there will be a lot more.

High price speciality/niche products like these are very hard to find the right price point and make a profit on.

I would buy one for sure if it was between 600$ and 1 200$.

But if it is between 1250$ and 1500$ I'll pass my turn.

Is it possible to install this kit with an aftermarket intake like the Afe Takeda intake box ???

At this time he has two kits. The smaller one is $1390 (VW). The larger is $1650 (Silverado). Anyone hoping for under a grand is dreaming.
This kit provides performance that is pretty close to a belt driven supercharger and is probably going to be about half the cost. It does not require a flash and is removable without a trace in a half hour for inspections and dealer visits. Even at $1800 it would be a deal, assuming the reliability is there.
