Making a unique variation of the car more unique is sure to get you a lot of attention. I wouldn't suggest making mods that change the special edition aspects (i.e. don't switch to purple seat belts or paint the car green), but adding some personal touches will make the car stand out. Unless you do things that can't be reversed (rocket bunny kit) then I say go for it.

Depends on if you drive it frequently or not imho. If you're DDing it, the value is going to fall off hard anyways. If you're going to drive it pretty rarely and keep mileage low, keep it in a garage, showroom condition, etc. Then you should consider leaving it bone stock, but only if thats what makes you happy and you actively plan on selling it in the future / keeping it as stock for the sake of being one of few unmodded FRS in the future (like people do with ae86s).

If you're driving it a lot, just mod it. It seems like you want to. Cheers

These are not going to be big money collectors items, not for a very long time even if they do. The amount you may hurt the value is tiny in the span you will own the car.

Just mod it. Your car will lose 50% of it's value once the 11 series comes out.

Actually its not vinyl wrap to look like carbon fiber in the frs..its a bunch of little old school Toyota "T's". they made a design out of it..its also on the front bumper, rear bumper and in the dash

Resale value should be the last thing on your mind. The car will lose value regardless. It will be decades before you would possibly see any appreciation in value for your car. A limited edition mass produced car doesn't really gain value, unless it is substantially different. Mod it as much as you want. Just keep the stock parts.

It's not a 100grand exotic limited edition so therefore mod away and personalize it.

Not driving or modding your car so you dont harm the resale value is like not banging your gf/wife so the next guy gets all the fun.....

Its a car and honestly the 10 series is great but they made 2500 of them, cmon thats alot now my car is #56 of 86 if you want to throw badge numbers around, they literally only made 86 cars the first month they were available, mod it, enjoy it, sell it....life is short take risks
