I'm very disappointed with Toyota..
That they would allow this car to be under their name. The fuel pump, detonation issues, transmission, axles, and so many fucking rattles are way too much for a Toyota vehicle to have. I literally hate my car. It's not fun to drive anymore. Then the dealers will do nothing to help me. A few dealers won't do shit after bringing the car to them. I literally want to just say fuck it and get rid of the car, but I will lose a shit ton of money and it's not so easy for a college kid to do that. I don't think I will ever not buy a Lexus again. I was optimistic about this car that it was a cheap sports car. But that's just it. It's cheap. Cheaply made, cheaply taken care of, and cheaply fixed when problems arise. And I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle of lemon law because my car hasn't "been to the dealer enough" and it was purchased and licensed in a different state. I truly hope everyone else is happy with their car but I see why a lot of people are starting to sell; they don't want the issues. If my axle fails at 6,000 miles without any tracking, what does that mean for the entire car? I know it's mostly Subaru, but the fact that Toyota would put this car out as their own sickens me. Maybe I do just have a lemon. Maybe I am overreacting. But I'm sick of my car in particular, but I may be stuck with it for awhile. Why can't they come out with a new fuel pump after over a year of knowing about it? Do they not care? I hate taking my car to the dealer to tell them everything that's wrong, wait 8 hours, then be told they could not replicate ANYTHING. I have no fun driving this car anymore. And I can't believe I have to pay for something, with a warranty, that has so many problems that aren't being fixed. /rant

Um...welcome to the launch of a new car? I don't know how hard you drive the car, but the fuel pump is a non issue (as of this point), detonation only is happening to those who beat their cars on the racetrack, the transmission issues seem to be fixed by a fluid change (for those that have that problem, I don't), and I don't get any rattles other than my teeth when I go over a bump too aggressively. Feel free to sell your car and get a new civic. I hear those are reliable.
but, for what its worth, I'll patronize you with this: |
