More like a Ducati with a dry racing clutch.. sounded like valve gear with transmission clatter.

I've always thought that the Ducati sound came from its valves. Just googled for the first time.

I've considered it but not for a long time. Now I have to pull the seat and take a good, hard look.

Would be a challenge to preserve structure in the spirit of the design. The rails mount to those very nice beams.
