Do you mean the valve spring recall that is covered in no less than 5 long posts?

Valve spring recall is only on some 2013's. It's not related to this thankfully.

The recall is much more in-depth, replacing all of the valve springs which requires more or less disassembling the top of the head. The TSB for CEL only requires measuring the valve shim clearances. Not nearly as invasive.

hopefully subaru can truly fix our cel issue this time. i do plan to keep this car long enough till my son grow old enough to drive it. he is now 6. so 10 more years. took him out yesterday for a spin in the front seat. he said it is really fun like gocarting. (we went go carting awhile back in Niagara falls.

That's cool. My 2 year grandson loves the car. He's still in the back but gets really excited when I pick him up from daycare in it.

I got my car back a week ago after they did the flash. During their road test after, there was something that caused it to misfire which took an extra day or two. Long story short, car seems fine since I've gotten it back.

Happy to have it back after 31 days with the dealer!

I had a problem with the HPFP and so I recently went back to stock. Stock catted header, stock tune. The dealership wouldn't do anything if I was modified, and I need the car to be dependable. They cleared the codes for the HPFP (I wish I had written them down) and they have not come back. But I also think they did nothing but drive it 50 miles.

I got the car back from the muffler shop 2 days ago and I haven't put 50 miles on it yet. I got p0420, P119F and P219A. The bad fuel mileage makes me think AF or O2 sensor or wiring. What else could it be? Fuel mileage, mostly city, low 20's

when you have P119F and P219A combined. it's pretty 100% the same issue as ours. the other code is something else.
