Are you planning to finance? Because there's 0% going on right now for 2014 models only. That's considering the place on your bio is zip code 22193 or equivalent.

In that case, I'd get a 2014 as there aren't any changes other than the shark fin and exhaust tips.

FRS had more changes than the BRZ

Yes, you're right. Several third party review sites have confirmed from Subaru that the '15 has revised shock absorbers / dampers for a bit more polished ride & handling. This is from what I've read and I can't prove anything other than the articles out there. The change shouldn't be too big of a deal knowing that manufacturers will always keep fiddling with every other upcoming model year.

I drove a '14 BRZ Limited 6MT before placing my order and I was happy with the way it drove as well.

Good luck to @roybotnik and the '14 SWP BRZ Limited which you have your eye on.

I'll drive over there today and see what kind of bargain I can get on a 2014. I'll post the price here if I work something out.

My advice is to not drive the turbo there. Probably not going to help with the negotiations.

Yeah I learned that first time around. But I sold the turbo a couple months ago. Looking to stick with Japanese cars after spending $10k in maintenance and minor 'upgrades' on the 911 in a year... I don't see how so many people can enjoy driving something that requires so much attention.

Trying to get back to the stuff that got me into cars in the first place when I was in high school... Japanese cars are just better in an intangible way. Less is more! I had a 2011 Mustang GT and a 2008 911 turbo and now I'm looking to replace them with a new BRZ and an early NSX respectively. I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

I understand that in some places you can still find 13s!
They did not sell equally well everyplace.

Compared to my GBS 2013, the ISM 2015 feels like it rides a little better without any handling compromises, the suspension settles over bumps instead of crashing so I'd go 2015 unless it's a huge (4-5K) difference. ISM.

Sit and drive both cars. 2015 have the exterior and interior updates (new dash insert, exhuast tips, shark fin antennae), and the suspension updates. If you plan to heavily modify your car (suspension, exhuast, etc), go for the 2014, as your modifications will replace any updates Subaru made to the car. If not planning to modify heavily, go for the 2015. Price may be higher, but resale will be ever so slightly better as it'll be MY2015. This is assuming you'll get similar financing, and you like the colors of both the 2014/2015s in stock.
