Buy back car, part it, buy new car (used or new) and move everything over. I rather do that than drive a car that's been messed up that bad.

If they want to total the car, then accept the money and ask how much to buy the car back yourself. fix it yourself or part out like Apex ^^ said

If you're thinking of going the totaled route and keeping all your aftermarket parts, have you looked into Carmax for used Monograms? You can go to your local Carmax and have any car delivered from their network for a fee. Something worth looking into.

A nationwide search, I have found 4, and 2 10-series FRS':

I think OP is looking for whiteout only.
I wish they aren't so expensive though.

The Monogram owner in me is praying it comes back clean title!

The vulture in me on the other hand...(only because I have a whiteout mt monogram lol)

Wrap it white! My lip kit (pictured) is wrapped and body shops are shocked when they see it. They all think it's painted. If I had the extra money, I'd wrap my car instead of opticoat/clear bra. Protects your paint, no more swirls, no more wax/details/clay/polish needed, and easy to wash. And it's very similar in price to a complete repaint. Win/win!

It is heartbreaking especially for another whiteout Monogram owner, although mine has no major mods. Hope you can find another.

Wow, I didn't realize they were that hard to find. I was awe struck the first time I saw a whiteout twin and I got upset when someone scooped up a whiteout monogram from a nearby carmax before I could. I got over it when I got my red one certified used for 3 grand less but part of me still really wanted a whiteout.

OP, best of luck with the ruling and with your search for a replacement if that's what it comes to.

If I go that route I would be getting even less back from Farmers. I thought about this option and me being me I would want to switch everything Monogram over. It would just be more practical to find another Whiteout Monogram... if there's one out there for sale.

My 86 isn't even that damaged. According to the collision center the only part that's tweaked is the passenger tow hook portion. The frame is still on point. Frame rack verified.

I don't want to deal with the hassle of parting the car out. I would end up sitting on 50% of the remaining car. Even if I do buy it back... I would still need $16k for the repairs. And that, I don't have just laying around lol.

I used to work for a vinyl company using 3M and the material has come a long way, but there's nothing like paint. Not only that but typical vinyl life is only about 4 years with a high UV rating. And a full vehicle wrap is sometimes as much, if not more, as a good paint job.
