This looks promising

What parts are needed besides a different silicon hose? (belts pulleys?)
Shoot me a PM @post_break =D
We can work out some sort of option for you.

As far as differences, only the hose going to the d-side of the intercooler would be different. You use the same pulleys although the C38 changes the RPM band around.

Well I was just curious for public sake. Can you post in this thread what we can expect pricing wise?

No, he's not allowed to post pricing outside of the forsale boards.

I was quoted by a 3rd party vendor, that buying a C38 outright would be about $2k

The true retail value of the C38 Chargers is about 25% higher than the quote above.

Even outside of what we do as Kraftwerks, we sell Rotrex Units individually as we are the largest stocking distributor in Northern America. We supply a great deal of niche shops that create their own kits over all for various applications.

We can match or beat any prices, especially that 3rd Party Quote. To give you an idea @post_break of what we're looking at in terms of an upgrade program, the pricing will be roughly 43% cheaper than that 3rd Party Pricing shared by Mr. @Freeman. There will be a CORE charge as we will request the C30 back, (the price of getting the new unit so cheap), which will be refunded back once we receive C30 back at our facility.

Like someone else had posted, I can't exactly give any pricing here within the thread but shoot me the PM and we can go over the process and pricing.

So doing some math here, 2000 * .57 = $1140 outside of any tax or shipping for an upgrade.

So question, would there be tax and shipping?

The 25 percent increase isn't included above because KW said it is a 43% discount off of Freeman's price, not the true retail price.

I also didn't calculate core charge because it's refunded in the end anyway.

You're pretty darn close on the pricing.

Correct, the %s noted were based off of Mr @Freeman 's quotation, not true retail.

Being a business located within California, there will be Tax assuming we're selling / shipping to any residential locations within California, but I can most certainly work with you on the shipping price.

Other than what is included in the Supercharger kit, does this car require any extras to support the extra HP and torque? Suspension upgrades, etc.

Required, no.
Recommended, always.

Items to consider would be Clutch, Header and Complete Exhaust System.... Then Tires once you've got the thing installed 'cause you're going to be doing sweet donuts now and running through those stock tires like nothing!

Those are the base three items to consider when apply boost to almost any vehicle. As you increase in HP and potentially come down to smaller pulleys for higher boost, you'll also want to consider upgrading your Fuel Injectors and your Fuel Pump as well.

You don't NEED suspension, but if you plan on tracking your vehicle, it wouldn't hurt to upgrade to a full coil-over system to help keep the vehicle planted throughout the course.

The higher the RPM, the more positive boost it takes to close the bypass. While in theory, this makes sense, from what I have read it means that I need a stronger spring on my bypass valve to keep it closed under those situations. As I understand it, the bypass should only open when I am not on the throttle at all.

Can someone help me out here? Anyone else with this situation? Is the spring even upgradable or do I need a new bypass?

Here is a partial throttle video where you can hear the hissing of the bypass:

let us/me know when you get an update on this please. i have always wanted to question somoene about this. my valve stays open on partial throttle too. full throttle closes, no throttle opens.
