Yes, i extended the white wire and mounted the switch on bottom of the panel under the steering wheel facing the floor but i am looking for a power source for the red wire to the switch that only works with the key on so i don't drain the battery accidentally by leaving the fog light switch on. thinking about this for power http://www.ebay.com/itm/ATM-Mini-Fus...286#vi-content

Sorry for the delay guys. for those interested to tap their switch on ignition key.without draining the battery and u can turn on the fogs without turining on parking lights and headlights.

unplugged that white socket

remove the black cover insulator around these wires, and pull the green wire, with the splicing wire connector, connect the red wire from the switch to the green wire.

Note: U need to squeesh in very hard to get the perfect contact on the wire, coz the green wire has a thick insulator.

Then plugged it back in the white socket, then screw in here the ground wire

enjoy with ur working foglights lol. hope this help guys.

These are crap... And if you're using a bunch of force to get through what you think is insulation, it's probably just damaging your wire.

I suggest http://www.backinblackgp.com/Tap_And_Splice.htm
