Lowered the car a bit more and found out that 18x9.5 et44 with 255/35/18 tires is a no-go with Bilstein coilovers because they use progressive springs... Since then i'm using a set of 4mm spacers and it still doesn't clear completely under full lock while driving backwards... Sooo i ordered a set of KW's (V1)... Also i went to a car meet a while back and got an awesome picture out of it:

And lastly 2 weeks ago we changed the OFT tune and got some popcorn

Here a little video too

Joe's Kurokongouseki 86

Time to give a little update! The Bilsteins have been sold and they've made someone else very happy! I now have KW V1's and i cannot complain, they ride pretty good I've been working a bit on the 86 and i corrected the ride height since it was way too low in the back

Before:

After:

Then i've once again modified my reverse light! I removed the exterior smoke and baked them open and sprayed all the chrome, black! I'm very happy with the result, especially since now they won't cause any problems at the yearly technical check-ups, which was the main reason for my redoing this little mod

And lastly i've painted the OEM wheels (winter setup) gloss black! It's not perfect but as for winter wheels and 30€ i'm definitely pleased with the result! I just sprayed them black and afterwards did a couple clear coats

That's it for now! I think soon my brakes will need replacing and i also want to make some changes to my exhaust... i'm thinking of adding 2 extra resonators (custom) in the frontpipe and catback (which each already have 1), but that's for later.

Black Diamond looks great!
Let us know how the wheels turn out, are they stock 16 or 17"?

Thank you very much!
Well, i've mocked them up next to the car a while back! (And stock ones are 17" but when they go on i have 2,5" spacers to give them a better look)

We had an 86 meet last weekend and got the chance to burn some rubber there. I'm not a good "drifter" whatsoever and need a lot more practice but it was definitely fun going sideways!
Here are some clips, inside and outside!
Enjoy my many fails
